In four defunct project sites in Fremont, Greenwood, Crown Hill, and Edmonds, where the community endured the chain link and weedy scars left by a limping economy, Studio Meng Strazzara and Goodman Real Estate saw possibility. Studio Meng Strazzara's design of four, small-scale, urban infill projects maximizes each parcel and provides contemporary, attractive workforce housing that enriches community and promotes the smart growth of these urban villages.
Each project is located within easy walking distance to public transit, with street-level schemes attractive to pedestrians while also designed to separate public from private spaces. Three projects provide live/work units at the ground floor; and one offers 5,500 sf of retail space. Tenant amenities include modern, high-quality finishes, large glass slider windows, rooftop gardens, fitness and media rooms, parking, and bike storage.
