Project Details

The design process for this new facility involved a series of interactive planning and design workshops. The attendees included the entire design team, the Department of Music Planning Committee, representatives from Facilities Planning & Operations, and University administration.

The Music Education Building houses the entire Department of Music and features a 600-seat concert hall, a 150-seat recital/lecture hall, an administrative wing, classrooms, rehearsal spaces for orchestra/band, choral and jazz, a recording studio, a performance library, instrument storage, composition laboratories, faculty teaching studios, and practice rooms.
