Seattle University
The remodel for the Fine Arts Department at Seattle University includes a Digital Music Lab, Isolation Booth, Control Room, and two offices.
Due to the limited floor area and varying programmatic uses, the design offers both short-term and long-term flexibility.
The Digital Music Lab contains 16 expanded music workstations and has the ability to teach the following courses: Audio Recording, Music Theory, Sound in Art, Electronic Piano Class, Ear Training and String Pedagogy. The flexibility allows for various sound design and musical composition courses to be added to the curriculum in the future.
